Company History

BWOC was founded back in 1982 by Bob Wayne, a family man who had spent his whole working life in the oil industry. To this day BWOC still retains the family values it was founded upon, those of independence and quality of service and as a result of this we have grown to one of the leading UK fuel providers, regularly supplying in excess of 10,000,000 litres a week.

The company successfully diversified into retail garage supplies and we have become one of the largest independent fuel card operators in the country. Added to this BWOC supplies the majority of independent distributors in the South West of the country, which forms the backbone of the home delivery market.

BWOC has spent over 10 years under the wing of North West Europe's largest oil trader, Mabanaft. This has allowed us to load fuel out of more than a dozen terminals nationwide.

As a major bulk fuel supplier we are aware of the impact CO₂ has on our communities and the environment therefore as a business we have agreed that immediate change is required.

For over a year we have embraced this change in order to take ownership of CO₂ impact and we will continue to work towards neutralising our own footprint, reducing the CO₂ footprint of our customers and directly supporting the UK with reforestation programmes and community work.

We opted for UK based reforestation programmes as trees are very symbolic of everything we do at BWOC, what we do today will benefit tomorrow.
