BWOC Enters New Trailer at the FPS 'Tanker of the Year' Competition
Posted on the 22nd February 2012 in the category Announcements
BWOC have recently added 2 more 44Tn urban artic German made `Feldbinder’ fuel tankers to its fleet.
Working closely with Turners (Soham) Ltd who already have an extensive technical knowledge in operating these trailers on other contracts, we have found with a unladen weight of only 6600kgs, we can achieve an increased payload as well as the optimisation of delivery patterns.
These state of the art fuel tankers have a 39,000 litres capacity and are fitted with the latest electronic pump and metering equipment from Emco Wheaton ltd. This system allows us to delivery product to our customers via the hose reel, or 'bulk delivery pipe work' through the meter. Instant real time confirmation of the delivered quantity is then automatically transferred back to the office via GPRS.
In line with the BWOC CO2 Reduction Pledge, we believe the operation of these two new trailers will have a dramatic reduction in CO2 emissions for both companies.

For many of us, keeping an eye on a monthly budget is essential. Builders, electricians, architects, contractors, developers and project managers all share one thing in common, the need to keep a close eye on out going costs.
All expenses have to be monitored, controlled and kept to the ultimate minimum. Managing a company’s outgoings has never been an easy task, but can be straightforward if you have the correct knowledge when it comes to your suppliers and are aware of the services available to you, allowing you to shop around and guaranteeing you’re getting the best deal.
Having a wide variety of choices can be just as frustrating or maybe knowing that you could have found a cheaper alternative, or purchased it for half the price just around the corner.
Purchasing a product for a fantastic price can be extremely satisfying however whilst making sure that you do not waste unnecessary time searching for the best offer, as this could have an on-going effect on potential savings. A perfect example of this is Fuel.
Driving in an unknown area and looking for the next place to fuel? The first forecourt you see may not be the cheapest locally but by this point you have no option of a better deal. Imagine if that happened to every driver within your fleet? The difference in cost would soon start to add up.
The ‘icing on the cake’ would be if you could fill the tank at a discounted rate while delaying paying for it, with an interest free credit period.
